• Ven|Cat is GDPR compliant.

• Data submitted by Startups remains under their control and will not be shared unless authorised.

• Startups submit 3 types of data to Ven|Cat:

  1. Registration Data: this is a minimum of publicly available data that allows Ven|Cat to check the validity of the registration request. For example: Web URL, business type, management team.

  2. Public Data: this is Registration Data plus any other relevant publicly available information plus a short Pitch Video.

  3. Restricted Data: a Startup will only share these data with parties deemed to have a sincere interest to review the company for investment. Examples are the business plan, milestones, financial projections.

• Startups indicate which of their Data is ‘Public’ and which is ‘Restricted’.

• Public Data (example: business description as per company website) will be visible on Ven|Cat to all visitors.

• Restricted Data (example: a business plan) will only be made available upon request by Startup approved potential Business Angels.

• Note that Ven|Cat does NOT keep any ‘Confidential Data Room’ data such as contracts, shareholders agreements etc.

• Data on Business Angels and Experts is Restricted Data and will only be shared with their approval.

• Ven|Cat does not communicate any individual data to third parties

• Ven|Cat may use anonymized data for statistical purposes.
