The Trust recognises that staff are the most vital element in making our support service to each individual successful.

Staff are the most important resource of the support service and every effort is made to ensure that all staff are given the opportunity to learn new skills and to develop their knowledge in order to further their effectiveness and to improve their life opportunities.

 

The Trust seeks at all times to value staff and to appreciate the breadth of the work they do and the skills they need to do their job. The Trust provides both an induction programme and an ongoing training programme to reinforce and update the staff skills needed based on skills matrices defined for all staff posts.

 

We support people to develop their skills and to achieve recognised qualifications to facilitate career progression.
